Obituary of Sandra Overvest

June 20,1960 - June 29,2023

Peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 29, 2023 surrounded by her family, Sandra Overvest (née MacMaster) of Cassburn passed away at the age of 63. Predeceased by her parents Donald "Bahn" MacMaster and Doris MacRae. Loving wife and best friend of Kenny Overvest. Proud and caring mother of Ashley and Andrew. Dearly loved sister of Phyllis, Ewen (Carol), Stephen (Brenda), Hugh and Glenn (Holly). Predeceased by her sister Mary Rae. Fond daughter-in-law of Willy Overvest. Dear sister-in-law of Gerry Overvest (Linda) and Alison Bonaldo (Endrio). Sadly, missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Sandra enjoyed working on the family farm and keeping the bookwork in order. She was a wonderful cook and loved to prepare the family meals. Sandra was always willing to help her family and friends. She devoted many hours to Vankleek Hill Minor Hockey over the years. Sandra loved to travel and visited many interesting places all over the world.

Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 11 am at the Cassburn Cemetery (please bring a lawn chair), 1780 Cassburn Road, L'Orignal followed by a reception at the Cassburn United Church Hall.
