Obituary of Georg Heinzle

Peacefully at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on Sunday July 9, 2023, Georg Heinzle of St Eugene at the age of 61 took his final flight, surrounded by his loving family. He was the best friend and beloved husband of Linda (née Fournier).  Devoted and proud father of Terry (Alicia) and Sarah. Adventurous Opa of Amelia and Gregory. Son of the late Anton and Edith Heinzle. Dearly loved brother of Hedwig Clatworthy (Robert), Rita Heinzle, Richard Heinzle (Lourdes), Josef Heinzle (Laila), Anton Heinzle (Sherry) and Theresia Evans (Eugene). Fond son-in-law of Jane Fournier (the late Euclide) and brother-in-law to Irene Lanthier (Michel) and Patsy Brown (Doug). Fun loving uncle of Yolanda, Jimmy, Erika, Dawson, Duncan, Melissa, Corey, Grayson, Chelsey, Mario, Sylvio, Matthew, Nicholas, Olivia, Benjamin, Christopher, Javerell, Jordan, Jesse, Mirah, Anabel, Tony, Kalia and Marissa.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill. A Celebration of Georg’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm with lunch being served at 1 pm and Sharing of Memories at 2 pm at the Ste-Anne-de-Prescott Action Centre, 7888 Arthur Lavigne Street, Ste-Anne-de-Prescott. Cash bar only.

Georg will always be remembered for his big smile and his work hard, play hard approach to life. It was important to him to live life to the fullest, with his passions being the 4 F’s. His family, farming, flying and most important, having fun. He will be missed.
