It has been an honour to get to know Lynn and his loved ones in the final days of his life. My only regret has been to not have had the chance to do so earlier in his life. I will always treasure the gentleman he was and the fact that no matter how he felt he always took the time to get up and shake my hand before I left his home. Rest easy Lynn. I have known Lynn, Mimi and the St Denis family my entire life. I babysat for them and then enjoyed New Year's Eve celebrations, many Saturday afternoons sitting on the "ladies side" with my mom and my aunt and dropping in for the occasional beer whenever I was in town.

My one particular memory, which I can now tell: Lynn coming into the "ladies side" and saying to my Aunt Maude: "Maudie do you have whiskey in that glass? If you do I have to bar you", this before they the Windsor was licensed to sell spirits. "No", my aunt replied, "here have a sip of my water and if you bar me you're in for a fight" Well, there was only water in the glass and Lynn went back to the bar - my aunt had of course hidden her flask of rye and spent many evenings having a good chuckle.

In any case, one always felt welcome at the Windsor and the entire St. Denis family were always warm, welcoming and friendly.

Lynn will be very much missed!
