My condolences to the entire Higginson family on the loss of their mother and grandmother. Bruce MacLaurin
Frankie was a special lady. Not many people could accomplish all that she did. I remember her wonderful raspberry patch.
Sincere condolences to all the family.
Frankie was indeed a great lady and a dedicated Mom to all her children. Our sympathies to all of her family. She had a heart of golly and shared her gifts with her community. She was proud of all her children and she will be reunited with those who passed before her.
Our deepest sympathies . May she rest in peace.
So sorry to miss the service as I am away that day.
You all will be in my thoughts.

Ruth and family members, We are sad to hear your mother has passed away but know you are comforted that she is at peace now. Upon meeting her, it was noted how Frankie was a remarkable women filled with loved for her family and determined to continue to show her love through kindness and of course baking, a skill well passed on. I recall her determination to drive from her home to a family dinner but only after picking fresh berries to share- Frankie will be missed but may found memories live on in the heart of those she loved. Jocelyne, Neil, Roxane
I am saddened to hear of your mother’s passing. She and my mother, Florence (Beaton) Edwards, shared a lifelong friendship that began in their childhood in Cumberland. I remember Mom talking about the times your mother would cross the field to come over and play with her. I also recall her rhyming off all your kids' names, and we would always look out for the round barn on our way to visit our grandparents. Your mother would stop in for a “quick” visit on her way through, and Mom always had a hard time convincing her to stay for a cup of tea. She was a lovely lady.
My condolences,
Nancy Toonders (Edwards)

To the Higginson children, I am sending my sincerest condolences. I met your mother several times over the years but did not know her well. My parents, however, knew both your parents and spoke of them frequently. I am so sorry for your loss because our mothers are still our mothers, irrespective of their age or ours.

This is one lady that has earned her wings. She was always so helpful to everyone, especially those of us at Holy Trinity. I never heard a negative word from her. She has been missed at the church, but has gone on to meet her children and husband who went before her. We will miss her raspberry pies and date squares. My sympathy to all the family. RIP Frankie - you deserve it.
A Tree of Remembrance was planted by Mark and Lisa Henderson and the staff of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Please accept our sympathy in the loss of Frankie.
I first met her at a WI meeting when I was looking for an organization to join.
She was upbeat and friendly.
God's blessings to the family.

I have many fond memories of Frankie at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Hawkesbury. We had many great times visiting people in nursing homes and all those bazaars and other church activities. I give thanks for the gifts that Frankie gave to all of us.

My deepest condolences to the entire Higginson family at this difficult time.
My deepest sorrows at the passing of this amazing woman. I walked into Holy Trinity and sat beside this sweet lady, and she walked me through the service. Afterward, she asked if I would come back the next day to "strip"! She meant stripping greens for the beautiful wreaths the ladies made. She always opened her arms to everyone and was the epitome of a Christian to her heart. I will always remember her with love. To her family, I thank you for sharing this beautiful soul with us. I share in your grief and wish you comfort in knowing she is home with God.
Condolences to the Higginson clan. I cherish several fond memories with Frankie from her time at the Heritage Lodge VKH.
My deepest sympathies to the Higginson family. Frankie was such a beautiful and energetic lady and so justifiably proud of her family and work in the community. May she rest peacefully ... I have so many fond memories of her singing, joie de vivre, and hearty laughs. Sincerely Kim Allen-McGill
